Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

13 so Jack Saunders told me.

You are too quiet Fella. Check in and share your day. Crying out for a virtual man hug here 😉
Didn't realise you were on such good terms with Jack. Not a fan personally but I'd never hold that against you mate.:)

I gave Lux a listen this morning and it's not for me mate. I can see why it's getting good critical reviews; she always had in fairness. I quite liked some of the upbeat and operatic elements but most of it was just too bland and samey for my taste. I had a similar reaction to the Laufey album. Nice to listen to but a bit boring after a while whilst listening to the whole album.

Some of my favourite music of the year has been released over the last 4 weeks. I think Florence Welch's album is probably her best to date, but I'm guessing you've probably already given that a listen. Swim School debut is also a cracking album. They are a Scottish Indie/shoegaze band that have been arfound a while wikthout getting much traction. The Orchestra for now have also released their second EP of the year. They are self released so I can see why they needed to release the first to help fund the second. Couple of tracks miss the spot but there is enough good stuff between the two to make it a top 5 album of the year for me. Picture Parlour released their debut album a couple of weeks ago and is worth a listen. The lead singer is a scouser who used to play for Everton ladies. Also enjoying the new singles from Mag Bay and Flo Ro. Also listening to a band called Imogen and the knife who I'm seeing live at a gig next week. She only has a EP released last year but I really like it.

I'm sorry to say I've not been keeping up on things in here. Why are you in need of a virtual man hug? Has something happened? Or just the world in general, which I confess I do my best to isolate myself from.

Morning Mascoteers,

So, it's the Day of the match ( see what I did there ?) and I am getting excited.

Never actually thought I'd get to go to see a game at Hill Dickinson , mostly because I couldn't be doing with the faff of downloading a ticket onto my phone and in addition I think the concept of having to pay for a membership just to have a chance at getting a ticket is pretty obscene.

Anyway, luckily for me all the hassle is taken out of the process for me today with my mate sorting all the ticket on a phone thingy out, so I am beyond excited to see the new stadium, sample the atmosphere at the new place and hopefully, hopefully see us win for twice in a week.

He has seats in club view which he assures me have a fantastic view with a voucher for a beer and a pie and ( get this @Gwladysover ) he has sampled the vegan pies and they are very good!

Think we are going to have a beer in the Wind Factory afterwards and then a glass of vino in town.

Should be fab.

Have a lovely day everyone.
Have a brilliant day jazzy. Can’t wait to hear what you think about our new home.

Enjoy! We go in the wind factory before the game and it’s not as crowded as 10 streets

I’m all good mate, the virtual man hug comment was an attempt at humour. Presently sorting out the Christmas decorations with Turnstile blaring on the speakers.

I had Sympathy Magic on repeat the other week. A great song and up with her best as you say. I will give Swim School a try.

Oh dear my friends how shockingly bad was that.

Ok the positives , the stadium is absolutely world class. The spec from Club view is spectacular.

However....for those paying a premium for " hospitality in that area ...Mon dieu they ran out of beer FFS! The cauliflower pie was delicious, surprisingly there were loads left 😂.

The wine in Ma Boyles afterwards and band were great.

However....was that the same bloody team that was so good at United? The barcodes were superior in every position and we were lucky that the margin of victory was only 3 goals.

I thought we were horrific in defence and porous in midfield.

Very sad.

Is it true they have banned farting in the club view area
