Thanks H. Can't believe it's 4 years.@Barnfred 55 Thinking of you of the anniversary of your lovely Cal’s passing. Hope you are okay.![]()
Nor me. Thinking of you xThanks H. Can't believe it's 4 years.
Yeah its been good thanks mate. I've just had the one moment when I was exchanging messages with Jazzy about next months Rick Wakeman concert. He's basically playing two albums front to back. One of them is Cals favourite ever album, and the other is about The Tudors which some of you may know was her obsession, especially Ann Boleyn. Add in that Cals brother is coming to the concert too and I guess it just got to me. No telling what sets you off. But apart from that I've been fine.Hope your day is going OK @Barnfred 55
Only natural to have a “moment”. I love the Six Wives of Henry VIII LP (LP that dates me!), especially the ending of the Anne Boleyn track, The Day thou gavest.Yeah its been good thanks mate. I've spent the day doing things Cal would have done. Eating her favourite foods, doing some gardening, having a barbie. I even had a limoncello in a RED shot glass, a first for me. I'm now going to have a margarita or two and watch one of her favourite films, probably Downton Abbey. The night is still young.

No that's fine H. I'm celebrating her life not mourning her passing. Otherwise I don't think I'd be able to cope.Only natural to have a “moment”. I love the Six Wives of Henry VIII LP (LP that dates me!), especially the ending of the Anne Boleyn track, The Day thou gavest.
Struggling to find the right words here, I hope have a lovely evening with your memories of Cal. Bit ham fisted but you know what I mean.
Limoncello you say ?
Maybe she knows something we don't.Enjoy your concert, that will bring back a lot of good memories for you.
Your comment brought a smile to my face, I was remembering being in a record shop, probably early ‘70s , when this long haired guy came in and asked the assistant behind the counter for something and she responded in a loud voice to someone in the back “ I dunno. Mary , have we got “The Eight Wives of Henry” ? “ He kept a straighter face than I did and eventually got what he came for!
