I’m about 100 pages in and he has already crossed through Ireland, sailed into Liverpool and now in Wales. He didn’t seem overly impressed with Ireland’s lack of hiking trails but liked the people. He is an intriguing character, good humoured but definite grumpy moments.
Really hope Moyes goes for it tonight with the next game being Monday. No excuses for me not to now.
Good morning all. We arrived at our hotel near Gatwick last night after an interesting detour around Surrey due to an M25 closure. This was not as bad as it sounded. For some unknown reason, Durham Land Registry, where I worked for 26 years was responsible for registering the country of Surrey so driving through all the places I spent years of my life registering was actually fun. I know, I'm really sad!
Our taxi to the airport is booked for 9:45- we are leaving the car at the hotel while we are away.
I really hope Wolves don't suddenly find their mojo tonight!

Hi gang. Hope all are fine and enjoying some warm sunny weather. I'm taking advantage and having my last barbies of the summer. Had one yesterday and will do so again tomorrow. Bought a nice steak to honour the occasion and plan on having a couple of Margarita's too.
My vinyls arrived today so spent the morning setting up my new turntable and speakers (thank god for YouTube and their instructions videos}. So this afternoon I listened to vinyl in my own home for the first time in around 30 years, and I loved it.
