I was multi - viewing last night, Everton on tv , Wrexham v Posh on my iPad . Posh were the better team in the first half but went 2-0 down to two well taken goals. It was more even in the 2nd half . Fate is a funny thing , if a team comes back they more often than not go on to win the game, as they did. There was a shot of Barry Fry sitting in the stands. Good luck for the Wembley final, Birmingham will be a tough one ,they’re easily the best team in League 1

I must admit my experiences of Wembley haven’t been good , a dire League Cup final against Aston Villa springs to mind and other losses. My highlight was 1999 when Wales beat England at rugby there in an event that is still remembered as St Scott’s Day and still pops up from time to time ! Good luck !

@Ducans elbow , seeing your post reminded me. Last week we had a “Buckie Thistle Memories” meeting looking back at the teams in the 70’s with the then goalkeeper leading the talk . Robbie Nicol’s name came up frequently as a goalscorer , I know you knew him when he was in Canada. He was actually in the room but left early so I didn’t get chance to talk with him . Apparently he’s off back to Canada soon, I’ll maybe get chance to talk with him at the next meeting.I’ve cropped this from one of the photos taken. Luckily I’m out of the picture, but it does confirm that the “ youngsters” haven’t taken over yet

This is a video posted on Donald Trump's twitter feed yesterday. In a month in which I've lost count of the shocking events coming out of the USA, I think he's sunk to new levels of depravity with this.

He's totally out of control. I read that he wants his birthday to be a Bank Holiday - that's full on dictator stuff. And as for voting with Russia and North Korea against a motion condemning the invasion of Ukraine, it is beyond belief.

It's possible it could be a Trump parody but the guy is so egotistical he'd think it came from a Trump supporter. It isn't even remotely funny anymore.

Thanks. Had mixed experiences at Wembley - I’ve seen Posh win the playoffs twice and was there when we played Spurs in 2018. As if losing 4-0 wasn’t bad enough we were sitting with the home fans.

I've only been to Wembley twice - League Cup Final and then FA Cup Final, both in 1984. Both positive experiences. I've not seen Everton lose at Wembley

I went there 7 times over an incredible 3 year period. One league cup, 3 F A Cups and 3 Charity Shields. Sadly I saw us lose twice but we don't talk about those occasions.
