Thanks giving here in Canada , going to my nephews dinner they are cooking for 19 folk.

I wouldn’t know where to start for that amount of people , it’s all about the timing, his brother my other nephew is a chef so I suppose that helps

Can you do that?

Get a huge sack or a couple of large suitcases. Fill them with £1 coins or fifty pence pieces and send them over to him, minus the cost of the transport obviously. Or send him a cheque and tell him to get his finger out and sort it himself….

An early start and off to Belfast today for a working day. Not that I have any plans to retire but I won’t miss work related travel. Largely such a waste of precious time and getting increasingly more expensive all the while. I know, I know, it’s a good book I need to pass the time.

Morning all, we are dog-sitting today. Minnie, having gone from a home with three dogs to being the only one since losing her friends Woody and Poppy, becomes distressed when left alone. DIL’s Mum has taken on the job of doggy day-care but today she has a hospital appointment so we have the job. In other news youngest grandkid has been picked to represent her school at the inter-schools cross country event today. It’s not actually cross-country just round a sports field but after all the recent rain should be suitably wet and muddy. Lovely.
