I’ve been waiting since 1966! I’ve only ever been to away games even seen us at Wembley just never made it to Goodison. Still keeping everything crossed though.I am so jealous ,it has been so long for me.

You may depend some media type somewhere is already peddling that idea… Dear God NOOOO!Yes they’ve announced it will be moved - I just hope it’s not moved to the last game of the season as I can just imagine Klopps last game, at Goodison, the media hype around that and the fact that you know we will just mess up as per usual - I can’t bear to think about that. I suppose they’ll just put it in midweek somewhere![]()
I know, and I don’t want to say these words out loud but what if we had to win to stay up- I think that might just finish me offYou may depend some media type somewhere is already peddling that idea… Dear God NOOOO!
Fools and their money are easily partedGreat commitment from you and your family AT.
You could go on holiday for that price
Great to see you're back posting T . Fingers crossedMorning, hope you're all good.
Not much on today, waiting for the gas man to do a safety check.
Enjoy your day whatever you may be doing.
Cheers Jazzy. They're still pretty bad but I'm sick of them dictating my mood and keeping me from having a normal daily life, so I'm just sucking it up. I take far too many pain killers though but I have too when they get really bad. So hopefully I will continue posting more.Great to see you're back posting T . Fingers crossedthat your headaches stay away or at the very least are manageable.
I’ve got lots of fond memories of GP , perhaps made fonder knowing I’m unlikely to go again. Over last 10 years or so though I’ve continually shaken my head when I see how other teams like , Wolves, Forest etc developed their grounds into modern stadiums with new stands , leaving us far far behind . It’s sometimes nice hearing “ The Grand Old Lady “ “ a proper football stadium “ phrases being used in a good way , and there’ll be lots of emotion in the next 18 months, lots of memories rekindled. Part of me still clings to the Everton of the past while knowing we really need to move on into the 21st century to be competitive.Yep, as it won’t be around much longer. I’ve been going for over 60 years, since the late fifties, first team, reserves (when they used to play their home games at GP), been in every part of the ground with my kids, wife and family members, seen us win 4 first Division titles and god only knows how many cup games. Always loved GP but I can’t wait to get the chance to get to BMD…sounds like heresy but life and football moves on…..

Do you honestly think that BMD is a reasonable trade off for the years of turbulence and perilous position that we find ourselves in due to Moshiris incompetence and mismanagement Pete?Indeed, in its prime GP was the best club stadium in England but it’s now very tired and let’s be honest facilities are pretty poor. BMD will be magnificent and will be like entering another world…and I don’t care what anyone says about Moshiri, without him it would never have happened and I will always be thankful…..

I think we all need to acknowledge that Usmanov was our owner and Moshiri a front. I mean, who pays £30m for naming rights of a training ground. Once Uncle Ali got sanctioned the writing was on the wall.
Mate, calling BMD “ Pete’s Pub” was never going to cut it anywayYep, I only offered £25m ……
