Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning all. DIL is visiting her Mum in hospital today, taking grandkid no1, son at work so we are left holding the fort. Taking grandkid no 2 to her drama class and dog sitting duties, no peace for the wicked. lol Hope Mr P has a lovely birthday @Val P. Did you get stuck in the bath @anjelikaferrett, enjoy the races , hope you fleece the bookies.
@jazzy and @Barnfred 55 you are sure to have a brilliant time together- don’t do anything we wouldn’t do.lol
Have a good day, all.💙
Thanks @Gwladysover, I’ve told him I’m only after him for his pension now he’s that age

Well you don't drink red wine and I don't think you've ever owned up to being a Rick Wakeman fan. So not a good start really😀

I think the term you are looking for is "bugger me" 😀

See you later Jazz. Super excited now.
Yep really looking forward to it.

Had a great start to the day. Up at 7am and did 3 hours gardening ( mostly barking a large bed ) and worked up an appetite for a huge cooked breakfast that will keep me going until the Italian later this afternoon.

Rick playing Journey to the Centre of the Earth is on my all time bucket list and it's always lovely to spend time in your company.

Can't wait. See you later mate.

Good morning all on this cloudy day here in Hyvinkää .I hope all are well and had a great night and that @jazzy has prepared his liver for the onslaught. +5° here so the snow is melting but it will freeze again tonight ,skates out ! Have a great day all.COYB

I watched an interview on YT with Sean and I must say his lack of ambition is a bit worrying ,he is happy to steady the ship and recieve the plaudits but seems to have no wish to stay a long time or to do much more than survive ,I hope I am wrong as he is doing OK by me .I just wish he would feel part of the setup and not be getting ready for the bullet. Unless he knows something we don't !
I suspect that being Everton manager isn't a fun gig blue.

We fans are ground down by the problems, just imagine what it's like on a day to day basis.

The club needs an enema and a reset. It's impossible to plan for the future at the moment.

Thanks to you G and everyone else for your kind wishes for today.

I just hope I get on that train at 11.15 pm otherwise I'm dead lol

Back in one piece after a super afternoon and evening of food , vino , music and great conversation.

I left Fred in The Phil where he was deep in conversation with a rugby league loving couple from St Helens talking about beer tasting in the crypt of the Catholic Cathedral - I kid you not!

Honestly Fred is the most gregarious person I've ever met.

Today he's off to Glossop of all places.

Anyway recovery day for me. A bit of yoga , a bit of gardening but definitely no alcohol.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning, a lovely sunny day up here. The whisky- drinking - birthday- do went well,I think there may have been 10/12 different whiskies , I lost count. ! Fortunately they were small nips, plenty of food and water so feeling quite perky today, my legs are the worst following a 10 mile run Saturday morning. I think I’ll be laying off the whisky for a wee while though 🙂

I'll take that as a compliment. I think😀

Yeah. A great afternoon, evening and night Jazzy. The only regret was that I forgot to take a pic of your meal. I think I was so gobsmacked by mine when it turned up.

The St Helens couple were the salt of the earth. I have to admit I raised an eyebrow when he referred to Wigan people as "in breds ". Do you lot not get on then Val?😀

Great to catch up mate. Especially enjoyed our conversation about the young ladies😀
