Good evening all. We have arrived in Ascot after a bit of a bloomer on the way ( see what I did there) Took the M25 instead of the M40 and spent ages crawling along. However the hotel is lovely - we have a bath that is so deep you could hold the world diving championships in. I'll need a crane to get me out!
Currently sitting outside having a beer. Very pleasant. Have a lovely night folks.

Mr P’s birthday tomorrow so we’re starting the celebration early. I’ve got an assortment of Tiny Rebel porters to try - sour cherry and marshmallow, coconut, triple chocolate and nougat, and salted caramel. I may regret this either later or tomorrow but hey - who dares wins.

I watched an interview on YT with Sean and I must say his lack of ambition is a bit worrying ,he is happy to steady the ship and recieve the plaudits but seems to have no wish to stay a long time or to do much more than survive ,I hope I am wrong as he is doing OK by me .I just wish he would feel part of the setup and not be getting ready for the bullet. Unless he knows something we don't !

Morning all. DIL is visiting her Mum in hospital today, taking grandkid no1, son at work so we are left holding the fort. Taking grandkid no 2 to her drama class and dog sitting duties, no peace for the wicked. lol Hope Mr P has a lovely birthday @Val P. Did you get stuck in the bath @anjelikaferrett, enjoy the races , hope you fleece the bookies.
