Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hi everybody. Since our walk along the seafront this morning MrF and I have totally vegged out. We have spent the day snacking on left over turkey and ham, chocolate, mince pies and cheese. So. Much. Cheese. It's been like cheesemaggedon. Mr F is sampling the selection of craft beers with specially paired snacks ( he was particularly taken with the sausage crisps and bitter combo) that I bought him. I'm deciding between opening the Baileys or testing out the flavoured vodka. We watched a programme about Abba
possibly on Channel 5 and have had a really nice day.

It's gonna take Santa, the Easter bunny, and the tooth fairy to pry me away from itv at 10pm (Barry Humphries special), besides that, I'm vegging out.

What about you, any tv planned?
My guests have just left so still chilling with another wine. Probably throw a favourite DVD on, then fall asleep.😀

Still listening to music at the mo. An 80s play. Pogues just come on but not sure what it's called and can't be arsed checking 😀
Opted for True Romance. Wake me up in an hour.

For my Top 3 Christmas songs:
My top 3 is easily 'Fairytale of New York' thrice lol

I'm usually a bit more Grinchy but feel good this year - first year since I've been together with my fiancée (almost 5) that we're both home for Xmas as she got time off this year and I no longer work regardless of what day it is:celebrate:, so we swerved going to the regular family gatherings (even more so as 2 families means travelling AND someone always being mad we didn't visit them anyway lol ) and stayed home and made a bunch of food. Yesterday was traditional Xmas food for our region and today I've tried (and succeeded I might add!) preparing and making ribs, while having some wine and the homemade mead I mentioned in another thread.

In that light, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all :)
