Hello friends.
After a couple of busy days, today im having a slow morning at one of my recruiting events so taking advantage of my free time to catch up to this thread. On Monday and Tuesday I gave my first campus tour to a big group of eight graders and it was so nice to show them around while telling them the many reasons why my college will be a great place for them to enroll. So I’m loving my new job for many reason and I’m also enjoying all the walking I’m doing. Yesterday I almost did 20,000 steps and the best part of it is that the weather has been gorgeous and our campus has some beautiful views of the mountains. I’ll make sure to post some pics in the next few days.
I apologise if
@blue1948 or anyone else felt as if my response regarding relegation as negative. I know for many of you Everton has played a larger role in your lives, than for me who is a relatively new fan, so I understand your agony of seeing us on such position, but once again in the perspective of things, it is just footy. For me at the moment, and this is a personal opinion, there are bigger things to worry about such as the massacre that happened to the people of Bucha. So while I don’t want us to go down, and I actually still think we still have a chance at saving ourselves, I just can’t allowed myself to be in despair over relegation when everyday I am feeling anguish for the suffering that’s happening around the world. But I apologise if this sounds insensitive or negative to some of you. I’m sure the effects of relegation would be huge and I would prefer for us to stay up, but regardless of what happens I’ll still continue being an Evertonian. For better or for worse.
Have a lovely evening everyone!
