When I'm away I quite often get asked if I'm a Geordie or a Mackem. The Bolton one is a bit surprising. I work in a call centre and I can pick a Cumbrian accent right away. It isn't just how they sound its the way they talk as Cumbrians have a very deliberate way of talking.
I had her on the cobbled streets of Coronation street or it’s suburbs. I haven’t travelled England to be fair, Blackpool as a kid, London for work in and out. I know Liverpool well but that’s it.
My knowledge of English accents is based on footballers and TV. Would have bet money on her.

Evening went great. We could only have little spin as car park was full. It was a little scary at one point because we went very close to the curb edge. Now back home in one piece hoping for a quiet evening. Maybe have some chat about my beloved Everton then sleep and keep the routine going.

A quiet evening with a few chats about Everton sound perfect. I have no many plans for this afternoon, my daughter has a cold so took her to the doctor’s just a bit ago to ensure it wasn’t covid. Now waiting for the results so we are just hanging around the house. I probably be prepping some food, I have cravings for a seafood paella so I’m going to make one for the first time tomorrow.

Oh no, that’s unfortunate but hopefully it improves in the coming days.
Life could be much worse so I can’t complain. My daughter is enjoying that she hasn’t had to go to school in two days and she really doesn’t look too bad so I’m pretty sure it is just a cold but we just want to be safe.
I definitely post some pics unless it comes out terribly.
