Quite calm , warm and overcast in West Lancs today ahead of the expected weekend deluge.
There are weather warnings out with a possible danger to life! The only danger I suspect is that the final cricket match of the season will be washed out , which will be a shame because we are 3rd and play 2nd place team and if we win we we go up. Ah well.
Be interesting how the weather affects the derby. One thing's for sure , it won't be condusive to tippy tappy football at the back.
Well, as usual, I am dreading the game. We all know what's likely to happen , go on Everton rip up the script and surprise us.
Meeting with the social.worker about a re-assesment of mums care needs today. I don't expect them to change their tune.
Yes , I appreciate that there is a theme of inevitability about my post today which probably matches my mood but sorry can't help it.

Morning all, a busy day for me taking Mrs bl for another optician appointment this morning , then I’m driving to Inverness for one night later, a reception tonight and Forum tomorrow.Do I keep monitoring the Derby score is my dilemma, I won’t be able to resist a peek I’m sure but really my best policy is to wait until 1/2 hour after match finishes and avoid their interminable 90 +5 min goals.
I’m heading to HoChiMinh city on Sunday which is famous for local guitar makers …
Quite a shock it would be guitars and not their version of fiddles and Zithers . I suppose it is because I live in the sixties before they had heard of guitars in popular music .
