Possibly the worst first half of a first match of the season I can recall , all the talk of refurbishing the team and only new boy is KDH and then Barry only getting about 5 mins at the end is crazy. I’m on a depressing run of 5 loses for the teams I follow in the past week

Same here, my other team Posh have lost all three in league and knocked out of Carabou Cup by Accrington Stanley.

North Stand tickets for me for Sunday. I wasn’t fussed at all where I got mind you, just so glad to get in. I wonder what time the ground opens at though as I would love a nice wander around to take in the sights.

At the friendly last week the ground opened at 12 but I think you could only get into the actual stadium at 1. Not sure if it will be the same this week

I was guessing being allowed through the gates at 11am for the 2pm kick off but pure speculation on my part. Probably not allowed into the stadium itself until 12pm but even so, I wouldn’t want to sit that long anyway.

Good morning all on this fine one here ,I hope all are well and had a good night's sleep . Nothing much going on here other than the sourdough starter starting ! I will feed it one more time later this evening and make the first loaf tomorrow before we go shopping ,so I can see if we need to find one in the shops ,as I reported last week our normal super has stopped making it as they feel it is seasonal.
A bad back aand sore knees has hampered my tuning on the quad ,so we watched some episodes of "A small light " which is an Ann Frank spin off ,sad to report I seem to have lost some of my normal disgust and pity for the way the Jews were treated ,This is because they are at least as bad themselves in the Gaza Strip . Well at least not yet but as I wasn't around to hear the news then it seems as bad now with the daily updates .

Wonderful start to the day soon went west.

Got up super early to go to the gym. Came back to find mums door wide open and cat s**t all over her carpet.

Eventually managed to get some semblance of an explanation out of her. She thought she heard a knock on the front door and it was the carer so she opened the door but didn't bother to close it. Rosie later ran in and ran off with litter tray spreading it everywhere.

No idea why mum went to the door as I always let the carer in , no idea why she left it open and why does she imprison the cat on a lovely summer's night?

Oh well spent the next 45 minutes cleaning the mess up.

Yesterday had 3 phone calls from her about her washing machine not working ( it was ).

Honestly I'm running out of patience. Wish I could be more like @peteblue

Morning all . It’s back up the ladder painting the soffit boards on the house for me this morning as I was rained off yesterday. Which led me to start to tackle putting together a set of three shelving racking for the garage, so two jobs going on over the next few days. Have a good day all.

We finished the series and I got my mojo back ,for sure I was disgusted at the Germans but it didn't really focus on those heartless creatures more on the wonderful couple that were the centre of the plot . There are some special people out there .

Hi folks. Just catching up on things. I agree that our display against Leeds was woeful. As they say it's the hope that kills you....I was so excited before the match. Hopefully things can only get better.

Not much to tell you about. Nacho is still very shy and timid but he's stopped hissing and growling at us so small progress.

Good morning all on this cloudy one here .I hope all are well and had a good night ,yes it is the hope that kills you ,I too was on a buzz but it was such a poor display we have to wonder ,if Moyes proves he cannot handle it he will be toast ,these guys don't mess about as we are just an investment and I suspect a short term one as they haven't even shown up at the door .

Sorry to see Posh lost again the other night, but my dismal run ended with a cup victory last night so I go into the weekend with renewed optimism. Plus I finished the house painting yesterday, so no more climbing ladders for a while, wahoooo
