Nice pub game but you didn't give us the answer to the question that we all asked .....did you or Mr F split the G ? @ArmaghtoffeeEvening all Our day today was pretty much scuppered by th weather. We were going to go to see The Giant's Causeway but freezing icy rain persuaded us that it probably wasn't a great idea so we went inland - and got caught in a complete white out blizzard that seemed to come out of nowhere. So we turned round, headed back to Belfast and spent the afternoon in the establishment below. Very lovely it was too. We used our time wisely - deciding who we would have if we put a band together. Singer, bass and lead guitars, drummer and keyboards.
Mine was Debbie Harry, Mark Knoefler, Jon Entwistle, Max Weinberg and Paul Humphries. Mr F chose Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Jack Bruce, Cozy Powell, and Elton John as the keyboard player. We're now back in our hotel room, allegedly to watch Newcastle but I can hear snores from next to me!View attachment 289577View attachment 289578
Glad to hear that it was nothing more serious. Take care.Morning all. A very interesting 36 hours for me. Ended up in A and E with chest pain, luckily diagnosed as an angina attack (first one I’ve had for 6 years) rather than a cardiac event. There’s nothing like sitting for 7 hours in A and E to make you a. Count your blessings b. Get very angry at the state of the NHS compared even to my last visit to A and E 6 years ago and c. See what challenges we have in society at the moment.
Better dust off my GTN spray for Thursday night.
