Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Well I have given up ,I imagined I would take two places the same height above sea level,Armagh would not be a good second choice as we are too near ,then calculate distance angles etc. that is far above my level of maths now given that it is fact that the sea levels are not the same .One interesting fact ,there is a mean sea level used for calculating heights especially for the needs of aircraft ,there is a place in the middle of the Indian Ocean that is 106 metres below the global mean . The MSL for the UK was calculated from the Victoria dock before 1921 ,so perhaps BMD by association !

Here you go blue, some light reading. Wiki is your friend…

Morning everyone,

Off to Goodison today and despite expecting a defeat at the hands of "mighty" Nottingham Forest I am pretty excited as this may well be my last visit for a match ( stadium tour planned for March ).

Bring us some luck mate! For me it doesn’t feel like a win today but more another draw.
OK
Let me return a bit of positivity into this thread.
My Grandson and I are back in the family enclosure for this one and (with a few exceptions) we have a decent record results wise when we sit there.
DCLs drought can't last forever and I also have a feeling that Mangala may get on the score sheet against his former club.
I'm predicting a win 2 or 3 nil. :celebrate:

And how did I start this blue?

This is the best time of year to see Venus I think, so much so that it took my attention from the TV quite a bit at nights. My favourite chair at home faces Southwest and gives me a perfect view of Venus around 6pm or so.

Did you watch the new Brian Cox series, Solar System, on BBC?
I was going to mention Solar System , I haven’t finished all episodes yet but it’s been fascinating and Brian Cox is excellent. I’m not sure I’ll remember all the facts about the different planets but I’ll remember enough to keep me happy !

Well you did it again ,it was the sightings of Venus and the Space Station you have mentioned asVenus is almost perfect south as we sit out after a sauna . We have watched some of them ,I have to say some of the things he says seem contradictory .They escape me at the moment but I will jot them down as I notice them.
Have you tried Ancient Aliens ? A long watch but fascinating to me at least .They explain the religions of the time and in my opinion make the Bible easier to understand .

He has a particular talent in explaining very complex things in an understandable manner. I also admire him for admitting when things are scientific conjecture at best but not yet confirmed.

Ancient Aliens I did try but the reviews put me off it to be honest.

I think he's great. As you say, he makes it understandable. I watched something ages ago when he was talking about the moon and introduced a well known astrophysicist Dr Brian May. Yes, it was him.
Then there's this. Apparently it was the first record he bought.

There is the proof ,that is way above my abilities ,it was the tunnel measurement I didn't know how to find ,that and the differences in MSL due to the rotation of the earth compounded by the pull of the moon meant I could accurately calculate the figures to less than 0.000000015% and that would render the whole thing pointless because of the distance involved .In easier terms what is a few million miles between friends !

Well a great goal from them but I hope this is the litmus test for Dyche ,he plays too many favourites that give little to the team ,I honestly hate to pick out players for faults but Harrison has had many touches and I remember just one that found one of ours ,Dukes has the touch of an elephant and the same turning circle .If Dyche doesn't make changes for the better and use his imagination then he should go .How Dan will put up with him after having better managers i don't know . To think we have mostly really good players and he cannot meld them into a team is criminal ,there is of course their mentality that they have done so well in the last three games and this one is going to be a breeze .
