A few years ago I was explaining something to my then GP about what I was doing , he disagreed, gave me a scornful look, glanced at his computer obviously checking my age , and came back with “ Oh well at least you’re doing something at your age!” . We were discussing said Dr at a football match recently and I relayed this , my friend , who suffers from epilepsy and other complications out did me with the comment he received from him once “ Well, I’ll bet you never thought you’d see your 60th birthday did you !”
I always find golf clubhouses a bit pretentious. Food is generally good though.We have just heard our local golf course is ranked 48th in the world .

Not much to tell you about- the pregnant one is fine, the sick one has stopped itching so hopefully the treatment can start again soon. So are they dead?
Well yes, it was a long time ago
Only my friend is going to see them.
Oh you mean the musical group, not the original Levellers
They must be a tribute act though if the originals are dead.
No it’s the original group, they aren’t dead.
But you just said they lived a long time ago so they must be dead.
I said the original Levellers were dead not the group they are still alive.

It was and no better way to spend it than having a meaningful conversation
Another Saturday and another three points to look forward to later.
I will be at the Armagh football final (Clan na Gael v Clann Eireann) at 6pm then straight home to watch the recording of the Everton game. After a rough week, just work not personal, I definitely feel the need for a nice lunch and a few drinks pre game. First time in a very long time I have felt sick with stress and I ended up angry at myself for allowing it to happen. It has all washed over me now with the reset button pushed to remind me that life is too short.

Good morning all on this lovely morning here +3° but clear as a bell. We were meant to tick off one item on my bucket list -to have a cooked breakfast in the forest -but common sense says that it will be cold before we get to eat it so a postponement until next spring is the order from above .
