Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning folks. Mr F and I are going to Ascot races this weekend. Betfair Chase for those who are interested. It's his birthday present from last November. So, this morning we've been clothes shopping- although there's no dress code the tickets say ' racegoers are encouraged to look smart and dress appropriately for winter jumps' We also treated ourselves to a very delicious Happy Valentines Day full English breakfast in the greasy spoon next door to TK Maxx. Mr F is now fully kitted out in some bargain basement priced French Connection stuff, thanks to aforementioned TX Maxx!

Morning everyone and happy Valentine's Day.

Me and Mrs J off to Bank hall to see what I hope will be a spectacular snowdrop display and then a nice pub lunch.

Table tennis finals night went well. No controversy, no tantrums , some good ping pong and we even made a profit.

Have a lovely day everyone.
We have a few great displays of snowdrops near us, I love them at this time of year . One of my runs I’ve labelled as “ Snowdrop alley” , and yesterday as I was having to slow to a walk up a big hill the bunches of snowdrops at the side gladdened my heart. I bought some pots of snowdrops for Mrs b’s valentine present, she’ll put them where they can be seen from our conservatory door and I’ll pop them in the garden later.

A couple of galantophiles on here then.
