Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hi all, it’s been a busy time for me of late. There have been a couple of local to me references on tv lately . If you watched the finale of “ The Traitors “ their task took place just down the coast at Portknockie, with the feature “ Bow Fiddle Rock “ in the background. And last night there was a question on the Chase . “ What liquid is made at the Scottish place Inchgower?’” Inchgower is the distillery you can see from our conservatory, not a well known one , but an easy question if you can put Scotland and liquid together 🙂

Hello all, I'm settling in to watch Sky Soccer Special and hope that the boys can do it. We need to get back to winning ways. It's been a funny old day. Son rang me this morning and was quite stressed. I think his injured foot and the wedding are all getting a bit much for him. He hasn't been out at all for two weeks and said it's like lockdown again. He is a worrier but tends to bottle things up so I'm glad he rang me and got it all off his chest. Then I had my whole work afternoon planned out and got a sudden influx of stuff that I had sent out for further information coming back and then my boss got his finger out and signed off loads of the decisions I had sent to him. I ended up working an hour and a half longer than I had wanted to. I hate leaving stuff on Tuesday when I don't work on Wednesdays because it just creates more work on Thursday. The bonus is that one of my days off next week can now be a flexi day.

I'm very much looking forward to next week off.Mr F and I are going shopping tomorrow for some stuff for our trip to Prague. Mostly hats, gloves and scarves, We need some Czech money too.

Work has a way of delivering the biggest load of guff your way pre leave.

I always take a long Christmas break but unavoidable work stuff this year meant it didnt work out but yeah it happens.

It grates me though, I love the wind down with the decorations up and the festive TV and music.

And I realise when typing, I’m venting about things that not matter not a jot in the scheme of things. Actually on a few days off and I’m still complaining 🤦🏼‍♂️
