Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Evening everyone,

Wow you've been busy whilst I've been away!

Sat in Barbados airport waiting for our flight to hopefully be back in the UK tomorrow morning.

If I can stay awake I will have the pleasure of watching the mighty blue boys tomorrow afternoon.

Had an incredible holiday but not looking forward to the flight.

Anyway, hope you are all well and look forward to posting properly next week.

Safe journey mate. Hope you brought back a few bottles of Mount Gay Black Barrel.

Good morning all on this fine day here in Finland .I hope all had a good night and @jazzy got home safe and sound ,I can never sleep on a long haul ,hopefully he can and he gets to watch the game .
We watched "legend of the fall" old but we found it a good film .My wife is convinced she had a former life as an American Indian so anything with indians and horses is right up her street ,throw in nature and she is in heaven .We had about a foot of snow yesterday , I cleared it so we can go out tomorrow . Today is just for relaxing .Have a great day all COYB.

Good morning everyone. I’m in a pretty little village called Acton Trussell near Stafford this morning. We had a good night last night with the birthday boy and it was lovely to have my husband’s family all together- it doesn’t happen much as they are all over the country. Going to get ready and have a big hotel breakfast then off up the M6 to gods little acre where hopefully a nice 3 points will finish the weekend off nicely. Have a lovely Sunday all 💙

Morning all, bit cloudy but dry which is good. We’re off for a walk soon as an afternoon in front of the telly beckons so need to get a bit of exercise in. Hope you arrived home safely @jazzy and safe journey @Val P . Sounds as though you had a great time and good that you were all able to get together. We only ever see Mr G.s family at weddings and funerals which is sad really as they aren’t that far away physically , just not that “ close” as a family. Acton Trussell is a great name by the way, sounds like an actor from the1930’s .lol
Hope you are over your cold @Barnfred 55.
Have a good day, all.💙

Good morning all. Cold but bright here. I've just been to collect a parcel. Potential wedding shoes. I've got huge feet ( not wholly unexpected when you are 5ft 10) and I hate buying shoes. The website promised me wide fit, true to size. To quote Jim Royle 'my arse" They're going back. I couldn’t even get my foot in one of them. I know how Cinderella's sisters must have felt!
Anyway in other news I'm cooking bacon ribs today. My Nan used to make them and we would have them with mashed potato and cabbage. Food of the gods. Loads of pepper on the cabbage and butter on the spuds.
Also here's to three points later. I forgot to mention that all the Legends I saw on Friday said they thought Dyche was the man for the job.
Welcome home @jazzy. I bet Granny and the animals will be pleased to see you.
Have a lovely day folks x

I was going to reply to this earlier H but as I was typing my response I sneezed all over the phone and had to wipe it clean. lol

But thanks for asking.

We’re the same really apart from our son who we see lots - not in each other’s pockets. Hope you had a nice walk

I feel your pain with wide feet. Have you tried Heavenly Feet? They make wide shoes and boots which are fashionable too - couldn’t say if they do wedding type shoes but it might be worth a look. I managed to squeeze into a pair of carvella ones which lasted about 2 hours before I put flip flops on and I don’t think they’ll get worn again 🙁
