Good morning all on this cold day here in Hyvinkää a relatively mild -18° for us this morning ,how did people live in these temperatures before we had the insulation and heating systems of today ? I do remember ice on the inside of our bedroom window when I was a child but at these temperatures it is a totally different kettle of fish .
I hope all had a good kip and wake anew for the day today .
Sad to hear some of the French players have a bad strain of the Covid virus ,who knows what will be next .
The "football "fan in me thinks if there is justice then Messi should win the world cup with Argentina ,there is a real argument for him as the best ever so it seems fitting.COYB

Didn't realise it was today H. It's mum's birthday today. She would have been 101. It's also a year ago today that a good friend had a heart attack whilst playing golf, one that would ultimately prove fatal. May just be having a little snifter to honour their memory later.
