Interesting programme on BBC2 tonight at 9pm- First Contact: An Alien Encounter. It’s a docu-drama in that it has a script about an alien object being detected approaching Earth but features input from real scientists about what our likely responses would be at each stage.

Well that’s what I took from the newspaper preview and it has hooked me in anyway.

Not sleeping at all since Sunday night because of sciatica. Absolutely awful

Morning all, rain is just clearing away but still quite gloomy here. Hope Mr F. has a great birthday, @anjelikaferrett and in the words of Pink Floyd - Careful With that Axe, Eugene. lol. I’m off for afternoon tea today, a very belated birthday celebration with my daughter. She’s booked a table at Carriages Tea Rooms, near Cambridge. A group of restored Pullman coaches so should be interesting.

I have had this before, too and it sucks. When I get that pain, it is usually my glute muscles causing the problem. I don't know what you are trying to get rid of the pain, but easy stretching of the glutes might help.

Thanks Vegas. Some days not too bad, just really sharp since Sunday. Pain can be anywhere from glutes to thigh to shin

Naproxen worked for me and the leg exercises (knee up to your chest while you lie on your side) should help you BR. Avoid driving if you can for a while unless you have an automatic.

Well I’m still negative this morning and the kids are displaying no symptoms so fingers crossed.

Wet and windy weather out there today so very content to isolate myself with my new book and some TV ?

Was it a lateral flow test mate. They aren't that reliable, both ways. Would suggest your missus does another test to confirm.
