Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

As predicted, the "look at how much I am mourning" crown have been out in force today, no doubt the Poppy outrage is going to be doubly worse this year... ?

Aside from that, I've had a pleasant day. I've got a week off, the sun is shining and I've got all the bits to make my Moroccan style chicken and chickpea tagine tonight ? Although, I've forgotten to buy lemons. D'oh!

My first professional music release in a very long time, I'm fairly buzzing with it

That's really good.

Love that track mate. The spirit of Underworld flows through you.

Very sad news.

My mum is the same age and very upset.

As you guys know I'm not in favour of the Monarchy but this is a very sad day and will be upsetting for very many people.
It’s a strange one for Irish people. On one hand she was the figurehead of the Army and the atrocities they committed here in her name. On the other hand, the choreography of her meeting Martin McGuinness was welcome and contributed significantly to moving things further towards politics in Ireland. That’s a debate that could go on all night and this isn’t it.

Honestly though, the blanket coverage of events must be tiresome for even the Arch Royalists.

I don't know enough about the history of the troubles to make a meaningful comment AT

Morning all
6 am Saturday morning here in Titirangi NZ
Sitting in bed thinking about coffee and what to do today … weather predicted soggy ….
I think it’s going to be model plane building with grandson
Hope you all have a great Friday night even though there’s no footy to look forwards to this weekend
That triggered a memory that. The wee £1 styrofoam plane kits that used to sit at the till, just don’t see them now.

Literally insert the wings and good to go ?

Hi All!

Well, today is the first day in a week with no extreme heat warning...

NOW we are under a flash flood watch due to Tropical Storm Kay heading into the southwestern US from Baja California, Mexico! Woo Hoo!!

:Blink::eek::(
As I say to my kids, thank God you live in Ireland when you see the weather extremes across the pond.

I’ve built balsa models since I was a kid … these days it’s a better experience since they laser cut the smaller balsa forms
Thus us the one we are building now … we’re about half way
