MERSEYSIDE DERBY IN APRIL

I cannot wait to see Schneiderlin, Davies and Gana getting stuck into that shower.

As we all would, but it's more likely that for some reason, the occasion will get to them and they'll be chasing shadows as Coutinho and Lallana fly in to tackles left right and centre and we'll be 3-0 down by half time. I'm not allowing myself to get hopeful about this one as they always let us down.

The 4 - 0, sat in the Main Stand as a guest of a raging RS, was the final straw for me.

I'll take the dog out and hope for the best on our return.

Anyone remember that derby on a Good Friday night? Absolute carnage in the Paddock/Lower Bullens everytime that shower scored as everyone had been on the sauce all day lol

Exactly right, I'm not sure where people get the idea midweek games can't be moved. This season our game V Arsenal was moved back a day to the Tuesday, though I'm not sure why seeing as on the same day they decided to move the Derby to the following Monday.

Think they get confused with the more rigid European games but even then it happens.

Wasn't the Good Friday the "Graham Poll derby" in 2000? Pretty sure the derby the year after, when McAllister (urgh) moved the ball about ten yards forward, was Easter Monday...?

Not even going to watch it

If I hear that we've won I'll watch MOTD

one day Mikey we are going to turn them over and you'll have missed it!!

I've watched every single pasting safe in the knowledge that my day in the sun ( or under the floodlights ) will happen at some point.

Been waiting 30 odd years like but it's gonna happen lol

We'll go into the game saying "best midfield in decades" and likely with Lukaku leading the scoring charts and Robles having kept 12 clean sheets in a row.

We'll leave the stadium wondering if Lukaku was even on the pitch, how two of our central midfielders got sent off and what happened to Robles conceding 5 goals, despite us having 67% of possession.

I think a sports psychiatrist would be a good thing for our players to overcome this weird mental weakness with Liverpool.

That's fine mate, if we smash it's probably because I've chosen not to watch it, so I can take my fair share of the praise as consequence

In fact, if we smack them in April I'll expect a "Thanks Mikey Fitz" thread, for my selfless sacrifice
