Far from it, Dave.I worked there from the late seventies until 2000 and while Carter was there the Christmas parties were excellent!

Still a man way out of his time though, which made his cameo appearance in the video even funnier.

I cant bear him, tbh. He's always been portrayed as old school Everton acting with dignity, which is completely at odds with his role in falling into line behind the assortment of carpetbaggers and spivs that Kewright's allowed to slime their way into the club.

I really liked Carter's self-satirising "rubbish!" at the end. It shows a playful side that some of our more regular posters are maybe lacking.

The instinct to be anti-everything with regards to the suits behind the club is powerful, but just once, just as it's Christmas, let merriment be
