2025/26 Merlin Röhl

Wow a German with a sense of humour , whatever next !

My aunt is/ was German so I can say these things 😂
The region I'm from is famous in Germany for its open and jovial people (which doesn't necessarily mean much coming from other regions where people usually have a huge log up their backsides). Maybe just a case of a blind hen finding a grain of corn 🤣

Hmmmm, I'm trying to make an educated guess. Once spent a week near the Mosel and found most people there surprisingly friendly. Similar in Köln. We are visiting Hamburg in a couple of weeks because my wife's German family (who live in Hesse) have often told us that it's also another friendly area. I'd go with one of those?

Don't mind Puma myself but it doesn't get the blood flowing as do the three stripes.
Used to rate Adidas. Quality has taken a bit of hit, but they're ok.

Puma trainers more 'Street' these days, if anyone else still says that. Comfy as, too.

For balance, I've got an ANCIENT pair of samba's I still use for kick arounds on our estates all weather/ tarmac courts. And they're ideal for that.

Got outsourced a good while back, hence why the quality took a hit and the old skool ones are still the best.

I'm amazed that we haven't heard about the Oberurusel engine that made the Focker so great .

Can't you just imagine the pun about Merlin being jet propelled like a real Focker?
Given recent reports, anyone shouting "Focker" will be banned from the ground, and from here...

Very good guess, close to Köln/Bonn as well as Koblenz where Rhine and Mosel meet!
