We have come a long way if we can bring on a player like this and Villa keep playing not to lose. Didn't notice him at all but I am sure he was effective because we looked solid throughout the game.

Need him to hit the ground running, times today Villa bossed the midfield, it’s a weak spot - especially when teams play 3 there.

Looked steady, but of the pace and physicality but you expect that in adjustment.

Think there's a slight chance second half of the season could see us starting Garner and Roehl together at times as well.

It’s nice to know there’s that option. Garner looking to go up a gear this season, Rohl, KDH could do a job back there - all good ages as well.

is fit, or Moyes decides he can trust Aznou at left back, the better. We need Garner in midfield.
