Firstly you brought up Mata in the Depay thread on pretty much your first post, can you read the title bud?
Secondly someone (not me btw) mentioned Pogba being in the arse pocket of Gana, which you then went on some big thing about him being boss and his shirt sales etc etc etc, so IMO fair game to bring him up mate as you took the bait @MoutsGoat threw out to you.

Wasn't born in Manchester eh, now theres a surprise, wonder why you don't support your local team - yanno like footy fans did before the advent of SKY - guessing you don't remember that though, I am guessing you fell in love with the plucky little underdog of United, either that or just support them because they where winning everything when you found out how to use the sky remote you bad bad glory hunting nob.

Can you please read it first mate before jump into conclusion!? I mentioned Mata because I was hoping the discussion about Memphis isn't going to become another argument like last time. And guess what, you are all taking the piss at me for no reason. All I wanted was a nice discussion about Memphis Depay.

By the way just because I wasn't born in Manchester doesn't mean I can't support the club. It's the first club I supported and I have no reason why I have to change it after supporting them for 15 years. One of my mate was born in Israel, he is an Everton fans. I disagree with how you judge someone like that.

Depay will go for about £25m I think. And yeah, I'd pay that - fees are stupidly inflated now, even just a year after he initially signed, so I think we'll give you the money to break even, which when you take the inflated fees on board is the "new" £15m.

I wouldn't have given a Mars bar for Bolasie but it is what it is.

Exactly!
Someone actually understand ;)

He is clearly talented and has huge potential.

I am surprised Jose hasn't played him more this season but Jose wants players NOW he doesn't like to wait plus he has lost his eye of late allowing Salah, De Bruyne, Mata, Lukaku to go.

Depay has an ego and Jose doesn't work well with other people's egos.

A great fit for us if he does come as we are transitioning as a team plus we need the directness and pace in the side.

If he does move, I see Mirallas leaving and I think that was as season too long plus Deulofeu HAS no more excuses now with Bolasie out, it's his last season for sure if he doesn't stake his place.

22 signings in 3 seasons.

The utter Spanish clown.

McGeady 4.5 year contract circa 60k = 14m
Arouna Kone 3+1 year contract circa 50k = 10m
Darron Gibson 2 year contract circa 40k = 4m
Oumar Niasse 4.5 year contract circa 60k = 14

42m in wages and 18m in transfer fees

Thats 60m the club has basically taken outside and set fire to.
Gibson's contract was up last summer. We'd finally gotten the wages of a player, who almost never plays due to injuries, off the books. Then they give him 2 more years.
Some people keep assumming he'll be sold. To whom? Who'd pay for a near permanently injured mess? Even loaning him out will be very challenging.
