We’re playing better and finally have a good manager, and I’ve read and heard much more positive coverage (from sources I actually respect and aren’t infested with ex reds) for us today than I have in years. Perhaps there is no conspiracy after all.

What’s wrong with that? It’s absolutely spot on.
Ancelotti even clocked it wasn’t working and switched the tactics again after that. We were dropping way too deep.

Wouldn't say it was spot on myself, from what I saw, the change of formation gave us a solid and compact formation from which the 3rd goal came.

But that wasn't my issue with his comments. It was the 'talk of an upsurge' comment, there is to me an implied negativity, doing us down again.

Since Silva went there is a DEFINITE upsurge, yes it is a work in progress and one swallow doesn't make a summer but with the same group of players that Silva had both Ferguson and Ancelloti have improved results

Long may it continue. Do the talking on the pitch and we will start to see them fume that things are have turned positive now. Prime example is that bell Nicholas face after our late winner. If we stay in Europa places and even challenge for that 4th spot we will se the rest lose it further .
If we bother to turn up for the derby and out their celebrations on hold for a week that will be priceless

Even Sheff Utd will have to repeat this season for two more years before they get to be a member.
