The A Team film is gonna suck so hard.

I don't care cause i can still watch the original TV series and love it but there's no way its gonna be as good, will probably just be an average action adventure film.

Unless of course it features 90 mins of Murdoch talking to his dog Billy and B.A. calling him a fool and telling him to shut up.

Then it will be awesome.

I know someone who saw The A-Team and said it was actually quite good. I know I know, I didn't believe them either. The Other Guys, Middlemen and Devil look like they might be good. And Resident Evil films are always quite fun.

Oh and for Michael Cera fans, there's sposed to be an Arrested Development film coming out some time soon isn't there??

I have no idea, but that sounds f'in awesome!! Such an odd show, when I went to the USA a few years ago, its all my friends were watching, took me a few episodes to get into it properly, but loved it since..... its going on now =)

Hoping for a film!!

Capricorn 1 , surely , Baz' ???

Good shout a very thought provoking concept that back in the seventees was a bit close to the knuckle for the U.S space race generation.

But as Micheal Cain remarked once about the remake of Get Carter - 'why do they always remake the good films why don't try remake bad ones personally speaking instead of Get Carter why don't they remake Jaws 4 - the revenge ?'

That was a great film as well. is that being remade? Never noticed. Loved that era, that's when films were original and had great actors doing justice to the characters and great storylines. Soylent Green, The Warriors, Star Wars, E.T. Gremlins. Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones Etc, Etc.. For me the heyday of film was the Late 70's through to the late '80's. A lot will disagree with that like and I do love the old sword and sandal epics as well but for pure cinematic beauty and fantastic, original storys I think there'll never be better days than those.

Will Ferrel, Mr unfunny.

Love those HD trailers, my internet connection however - does not.

Also, Tron trailer is out a new one.. beast. in 3 different types of 3D ( whatever that means )

I wrote a long reply to this yesterday but I got distracted by Parramatta SMASHING the Bulldogs and lost it, so here goes the short version.

There are several types of 3D used in film nowadays.

Claymation or Stop Motion animation - Dating back to 'King Kong' and the Ray Harryhausen days, your typical frame by frame movement creating a three dimensional space.

CGI or Computer Generated Imagery - Using Super Grok computers to build images/scenes/objects/people for stuff thats impossible or too expensive to shoot 'in camera'.

Motion Capture - Is the art of sticking a million LED balls onto a suit/face/whatever and recording it into a computer so the movements form the base for a digitally rendered character/thing. Most video games use it to realistically capture people motion.

And 3D Display - For want of a better word is the capturing of live action and projecting it 3D. Here's Cameron, Spielberg and some bald guy (possibly the inventor) with the Fusion Camera System used for Avatar.

The 3rd guy is Jeffrey Katzenberg, one of the holy trinity that launched Dreamworks SKG (Spielberg/Katzenberg/Geffen).

Great write-up!!
