I know some lads who are pretty high in the Coca-Cola chain.. They LOST money on the Olympics.. They said they just had to take the hit with it or else Pepsico would have ?

Fantastic OP this.

It's pretty horrible that this goes on to be honest. I'd imagine that the actual amount of trade the street vendors would take from big corporations such as McDs would be relatively small anyway. In my experience, the people who would be eating at McDs in places such as Brazil would probably go out of their way to go there rather than trying something more local.
