I like to think of it like this: if the bid for the city to host the games is accepted, it'll be a lot more pressure to get the stadium done. It would be much harder to stall/quit so I would imagine the bid makes it more likely for the stadium to get built.

The pitch in dortmund is 105m long.
Athletics track is 177m long.
That means the track extends 36m up both end stands. ie more than halfway.
 

I do understand the need to worry however but we
Have to trust what the architect says regarding this.

A question I was pondering was would we be entitled to funding to go towards our stadium being built if it's to host the games? Could give us an extra few bob to build it into a top class stadia

Also it has to be a 55k minimum capacity or I'll be gutted.
