That's not how it works

I disliked it because I believed it deserved to be disliked

Take it on the chin

It was definitely "retaliatory"

Who says that's not how it works?

May I assure you, Mikey, it certainly wasn't meant to be reatalitory, and your juvenile antic of highlighting a misspelling is, well, just that.

I made a valid and justifiable remark; your still unqualified response is pointless and I can only infer that it was one of emotion than reason. Unless, of course, your willing to admit that Matthew is just not good enough.

Err, where did I do that?

I hadn't even noticed that you'd spelt it wrong in the first place!

So what if you did? Why would that bother me? I clearly understood what you meant and I'm hardly the grammar/spelling police around here

Anyone who has posted on here for a long time knows the following

- You don't have to explain why you have negged/disliked someones post
- If you do get negged/have a post disliked, you don't then come in and complain about it/enquire why you got it/give the other person a neg on a completely innocuous post to even the score

Ask any long time poster on here and they will confirm this for you

I'm fed up waiting on potential. Had enough of waiting. I want success next year not in 5 years. I want proper signings not waiting in false hope for underwhelming kids to miraculously find ability. The club is in a better place off the field but still hamstrung by sentimentality and mental weakness on the field. They need to fear losing. They need to grow a set and they need to turn it round because this club has been a joke for far too long

Get a grip lad, it's one defeat. It's crap and we should do better. But bloody hell, he's played one game this season.

Everton isn't 'a joke'.

I'm sorry if you think that way.

I think our derby record is a joke yeah. Nothing is gonna be better than that day we finally do beat them again but I'd prefer it's within the next decade to be honest. Utterly fed up and numbed by our bottling.

Honestly not sure if I'll see one in my lifetime. Utterly pathetic. Most disappointing thing is that no one st Everton will be bothered. They accept their place in the football pyramid and aren't interested in changing it. Hopefully Moshiri can get rid of some of the cancers in the club.

So am I. It's crap.

I just don't think we should be playing the blame game.

The team selection was brave but restricted due to the fact that we had four KEY players all injured. Two of whom are now out long-term so we have to adjust to that.

That's not an excuse. The players picked didn't perform, young and old. But it's not our season over or anything, as [Poor language removed] as it is.

United are beatable, and for whatever reason we don't have the same mentality against them as we do our near neighbours, so let's see.

Hopefully Koeman's learnt his lessons and we have a different plan for Tuesday. It could've worked today but ultimately we lacked the personnel to make it so.

It's not one defeat. It's 18 years, that's nearly two decades.

Yeh, but in the grand scheme of things - this season - it's one defeat.

Koeman isn't to blame for 18 years of bottling it. Neither are (most of) the players who played today.

They're to blame for a timid team performance in a situation not helped by a cull of our best players in the last few weeks.

S*** happens, as they say. It's all about how we respond in the next two games now. Make sure we get seventh and Europe and build from there.

Was not that bad IMO. Not the best decision to play him in 5 at back formation. Should do much better in 4 at the back.

Truthfully imo think he was terrible today, completely out of his depth....for that second goal all around shouted dont let him come in side....get closer...you could of drove an artic lorry through the space he gave him. Tho it is just one game

I thought he was stitched up a bit. Given his first game of the season in a system he's probably not played before, with defenders he certainly hasn't. Also playing against a decent attacking team, he could've done better but at least he can probably be given a bit of an excuse. He also managed to do more than the other 10 did and score, I can't remember a shot on target all game.
