we need to be more ruthless with some of these players, cant see him being around are first team squad so why keep him, Connelly looks to have more about him if you need a squad filler and the young centre backs Feeney , Holgate ect look to have a bit more about them...I gather he’s a model professional and there were reports Leeds were wanting to take him on a permanent deal. What amazed me was the decision to give him a major contract before Brands and Silva arrived. He’s not in the youngster category anymore, he’s 23.

It's a strange one, as Browning's contact is also up next summer, like Pennington's was before he signed a new deal. Browning hasn't been offered a new contract though.....unless Pennington is in significant demand, i’m amazed at a new 3 year contract. I don’t know who facilitated and endorsed that as I think it happened during the transition from Walsh to Brands.

Arguably Browning is the more athletic of the two, so would be closer to what we actually need, even though he isn't good enough.
No doubt he will (as he should), it's just a little odd we offered one a new contract but not the other...i’m sure Browning will be allowed to leave as soon as he can find a club.
Looked completely out of his depth last night.
Shame really, he looked a prospect when he broke through a few years back, but never seemed the same after 'that' derby.
