Sorry if it has been clocked already but Phillips made it in the PFA, Sky Sports and official Football League Team of the Season and is yet another Scottish international lol

I said before adam went to the RS about Coleman wont make the grade at right back and would have swapped him for adam.
I still stand by that,now i'd swap him for ince&phillips.
Coleman reminds me of mcateer football wise! (not good enough).
 

I don't think there'd be any sort of deal with Coleman going the other way, just can't see Moyes letting him go like that

That came out wrong, i mean if they where of the standard we need to push on as a club, they are from a championship team, so one isnt bad, (see Jags), but we cant have the same wide areas as a team that couldnt get promotion, both will be be boss though.
 
Price is obviously a crucial factor. I reckon we'd be looking at around £2.5m. Phillips has been linked with a few other PL clubs, so it's unlikely that Blackpool would let him go for less. And until we sell anyone, presumably we don't have any money to spend. Any spare dosh that's knocking around will already have been earmarked for securing the Pienaar deal.

If we got Phillips, would it be as a cheaper (and younger) alternative to Landon Donovan ?
