That was the worst they've played since the squad was called up for the World Cup.

It's a tough task to beat the Portuguese, but that team, imo, seems to have the mental fortitude of a wet noodle. They seem to have injuries stacking up (same goes for the US) and all it takes is an awkward landing and Ronaldo is done for the tournament.

In all fairness, that first goal was damn good. Frankly, I didn't think Dempsey that that in him. But yeah, we were gash for about 89 minutes of the 95...

He had a crap match. It happens to better players. Had you watched the US v Mexico match, he was the driving the bus int he first half when we potted two.

Funny how bells have to go to extremes because a good player had a crap match. You could write off everyone based on a having a terrible performance. (Like the Brit media did to Baines. Golly. Baines OUT!)
