I think you move Dempsey into that role. I've never seen anything from Wondo that tells me he can play with his back to the goal. I know Dempsey can...at least he has in the past. Maybe you move Wondo into the Dempsey role...

You can criticize Altidore all you want for scoring in the EPL, but the guy is our best option at being a hold up forward.

They were pretty good against Mexico. But yes, Altidore is the only guy we have that can do that. We have to play differently without him.

It's a tough question. Aron and Wondo are great in the box, but they don't really provide much if we're not making chances. Do we play Mix and move Deuce up as the "target?" Jurgen has some thinking to do.

Game is pretty much confirming what I thought about USA - bog standard mediocre team that need to find a way to be more compact and counter intelligently to do anything in this tournament. That defence is a horror show; luckily, Ghana aren't much better, if at all.

If that makes me a "hater" for pointing that out, so be it. They should NEVER have left Donovan out of that squad, crazy decision.

Not the point of my post mate. For some on this forum, no matter what someone/some team does nobody gives a lick of credit whatsoever.

That's the rub. I'm sure most Americans here would love to see a great performance by England, but its difficult maintaining these inappropriately high hopes for one team, much less two.

fair enough, but that door swings both ways, criticism when its due, and that was some gash togger on display, they may well have managed to stoke their way to 3 points but ronaldo will beat them on his own, and the germans, my god zee germans!
