Look like a team that had a serious week training done and look extremely heavy footed, I think this is plausible.

Aside from that, same old problems distribution from centre backs (Keane) and midfielders Gana,Doucs just not able to play quick intelligent ball. Iwobi still not a winger and never will be....

Maybe we should just stick Doucoure right up front. He scored some crackers last season, which is embarrassing because that's what our bloody forwards should be doing!

The only positive, for me, from the first half is that we never conceded. It's been a weary-looking performance by Everton with our build-up play being very predictable and easy to counter. Hope Sean Dyche makes a few changes for the second half, we need to do something different.

His final ball has always been non existent also scores once in a blue moon, if I was in charge of recruitment I would make him available. Always flattered to deceive.

Woeful. Maybe Danjuma aside as he’s barely had a kick, no one can seemingly trap a ball still, can’t pass a ball properly to a teammate. Outmuscled and outran all over the pitch. Pre-season or not, standards must improve.

That was very Lampard-esque. Similar shape, slow and ponderous, flick passes with back to goal all going astray, isolated striker. Just pre-season etc etc etc but the shape, roles and movement is so unthreatening.

I don’t see he has much choice either. Shocking that the squad is so so bad and imbalanced STILL that Dyche can’t even trust the midfielders enough to stick two up top (even if they are small and quick) and just feed balls into the channels.

Everyone was panicking we’d see 442 agricultural garbage. Balls lobbed forward to gain territory rugby league style and capitalise on second balls. We haven’t even got the personnel for that.

And Gray can play for whatever country he likes, but he’s had none of the preseason, is our only pace, and seemingly we can’t sell him until he’s back. Suspect some of the rumours of his exit might be due to his decision to just bin off the whole of his club preparation for next season and the club didn’t like it. Hard to blame him, but if he’s going, just get shut and replace ASAP.

My god that was awful. Does Dyche do any coaching on patterns of play, as opposed to just coaching them to run - we may as well have employed a PE teacher. We very much look like a team playing Championship football. So depressing and boring.
