Terrific match - though it went a little off the boil with the departure of Raheem . That bloke would be the first name on any World XI team sheet.
Lallana too was massive. Countering those two's prodigious talent was the mighty totem that is Joe Allen, the Welsh Xavi.
And in Roy Hodgson, we are all presented, the ultimate manager.
Legendary names...legendary encounter.
Lens today, provided memorable spectacle.

Start Vardy in the next game with Sturridge as the impact sub again. Just leave Kane out entirely, clearly needs a rest after a long season.

Send Sterling and Dele Alli home, both absolutely gash and offer nothing.

it was a veritable feast of football that will live long in the memory , the Italians must be petrified !

How can you say England didn't deserve to win? There was only one team playing in the second half. Wales parked the bus and England found a way through. Any fair minded observer would say England deserved it.
It's not like they had a million shots on target. I think you'll find many fair minded people would say a draw was a deserved result with 2 goals coming from mistakes and the winner simply a toe poke in desperation. Vincent Kompany in his analysis agrees with the above as well.

All that was missing was a good old penalty shootout
