Ah, the Everton "weeks". Like on Mars, an Everton week tends to last about as long as Dave Hickson's career. With our medical team, Holgate will come back from injury to find the club being managed by 57-year-old Anthony Gordon.

If Keane plays, he can score more readily on set pieces than Coady or Tarkowski (both in our net and the other end).

…problem with Keane in a three is the void on his right. When he’s played in that role we’ve been open and exploited in that space. Patterson will have to sit deep, essentially we’d play a back 5.

I notice in his press conference Lampard said ‘Holgate plays well against mobile type attackers and that’s what we face in our next two games’. I wonder if he might bring Coleman in.
