Fair play to Mason he realises that we have a solid settled defence.

I hope he’s up to the challenge, let’s see what he’s got!

I think he’s our third best CB personally. Shame he got injured he was playing really well prior to it.

Let's get it right here, he was our best cb last season under lampard.

He won't get back on the team whilst coady and tarkowski are fit but I'd rather have holgate rb then Coleman these days.

It's like saying when lampard come in our defence and team in general was a shambles and holgate stood up and finished the season as one of our better players, he's not had the chance to start any games next to more solid heads this season.

Tbh, I think Holgate is very much one of those players that need to be playing regularly to be in form. In and out of a team doesn't suit him, but when he is able to put a run together, generally he ends up being one of pur stronger CB's.
