Yet another example of the greed in football eating itself.

United have made an absolute mess of this. It’s hard to imagine anyone at the club genuinely thought Greenwood could come back without a huge furore.

It’s clear as day that United wanted him back as he’s potentially worth huge money. You’d have thought common sense would have prevailed here, but there is no common sense in the quest for more and more money.

I think the manager might have had a part to play in it.

He was fighting to keep Overmars on the staff at Ajax when he was sending pics of his sausage and to women working at the club.

Don't think she has to worry about money, her Dad a local rich business man

Wasn't there chatter of pressure placed on her to avoid the legal route ? Even if money isnt a factor on her part I imagine it would have done her arl fella's business no harm being associated with a PL footballer playing for a massive club in Man Utd.

I try not to pass judgement on anyone as its not my place - maybe they'll get married and he'll mature with age and realise he made an awful mistake or maybe not and he carries on down the path he's started.

For their sake and the youngun I hope they push on in a positive direction.

He thinks hes done nothing wrong.

His partner has just ruined his football career, sure he might be able to make a living somewhere, but he will never be considered anything more than the woman beating rapist he is, SHE did that.

Thats what hes thinking by the way.

That is not my view.

Only 1 person is to blame here and its NOT the victim.
I think because Utd have been telling him he's done nothing wrong.
