It's not a good look for United, and the delay also puts them in an awkward spot as they try to recover what they can from the contract. Any Italian destination would be a whirlwind romance at this point, which should give those clubs pause. Turkey and Saudi Arabia have longer windows, if there are takers there.

Yeah, timed it against the Womens World Cup, he's last segment on the news if anything, regional reports from 6 year old girls mithering on about how great the goals are. Transparent tory move from one of the wealthiest clubs on earth. Hope it costs them further, they rolled the dice, hammer them financially via sponsors etc... queueing up to get behind journalist murdering City. What a world...

He thinks hes done nothing wrong.

His partner has just ruined his football career, sure he might be able to make a living somewhere, but he will never be considered anything more than the woman beating rapist he is, SHE did that.

Thats what hes thinking by the way.

That is not my view.

Only 1 person is to blame here and its NOT the victim.

I am in no way defending him. But, it has been referenced many times by broadcasters that there is "something" not in the public eye, and not allowed to be, that sheds a slightly different light on the whole thing. What that could be, I have no idea, and speculation is pointless. By all accounts United were/are aware of it though, but could not release a letter of what "It" is.

I think for "normal people" those 2 cases arent even in the same ballpark.

Sure, Lee Hughes was stupid and killed a man, but who hasnt drove a little fast?

Normal people cant relate to what Greenwood did.

Didn't he dip because he was avoiding a breathy?

He also got done for assault later on (but cleared of sexual assault).

He defo dipped cos he was pissed, but he wasnt charged with that, look I dunno, I just briefly looked at his wiki.

But for me Sexual assault and murder are a different kettle of fish from other crimes.

We all have our moral compass.
