Just been watching The (2011/12) Premiership Years on Sky. Seeing Wigan winning at Arsenal and the RS whilst we struggled to beat the relegation fodder makes me even happier than I was anyway that Bob came to us. Strange how our expectation levels rise - I am already comparing Bob to Moyes as I used to compare Moyes to Smith and, despite the 4-4 at OT, looking back at 2011/12 (especially the 0-3 at the RS) makes me shudder!

Is Bob going to make up for all those years of hurt since Howard's great 80's team broke up after the English European ban? I certainly hope so.

I was just comparing the jump from Walter to Moyes and then the jump to Bob, really. I only mentioned Howard because of the European factor. I don't have any bad memories of big Joe's Everton.

Also, I wonder where we would be now if Mike Walker had not been sacked? Something tells me we may have gone down but come back stronger. You can't take away what he did at Norwich, especially that win at Bayern Munich.
