The FIFA Confederations Cup is an association football tournament for national teams, currently held every four years by FIFA. It is contested by the holders of each of the six FIFA confederation championships (UEFA, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF, CAF, AFC, OFC), along with the FIFA World Cup holder and the host nation, to bring the number of teams up to eight.

Since 2005, the tournament has been held in the nation that will host the FIFA World Cup in the following year, acting as a rehearsal for the larger tournament. Brazil will host the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup from 15 to 30 June.

Cheers for the info, sounds complicated :)

This time next year we will all be saying Martinez and Everton had a truly exciting and successful year. In 5 years, we will be saying, Roberto was a GREAT Everton manager, and whilst we are sad to see him go, the offer from Real Madrid was just too good to begrudge his leaving. Mark my words, EFC is on the cusp of a fabulous era
It would be even more fabulous if your fantasy scenario didn't involve us losing a great manager.

When you were a kid did you imagine scoring a goal in the FA Cup Final ... in a 2-1 loss?

See, we are already getting more global exposure due to having this Spanish speaking genius at the helm.

Moyes meanwhile is commentating on Border TV this summer, guest commentator for the annual Highland Fling 6 a side tournament sponsored by McMillan & Sons of Fife scrap metal merchants.
