Our manager aiming for 70 points and playing some great posative football or Moyes, Neville, Round and co taking knives to gun fights. Quite happy to with our current lot thanks... Not felt so much optimisum around the ground for a long time.

"It doesn’t matter who you are playing against. What was great to see is we went eye-to-eye and we were the better side in open play. Now the next step is to get three points in those situations"

Spot on Roberto. Three points from our dominance in these games, not a pat on the head is what we want. Get it drilled into them.

I was gobsmacked when I read Moyes interviews as Man u manager about us and how he believes he didn't have a team to beat the big guns such as wanting to get out of old Trafford alive, and now he finally got the chance to take a winning team to Anfield.

Always thought Moyes has more fire in his belly.

I'm actually more concerned about the Stoke game than the game on Wednesday at Old Trafford. I think our fans sometimes expect us to stroll to easy wins against teams like this when in reality, we find every game tough to finish off. We rarely comfortably beat a team these days. Would love us to stick a few past these tomorrow though.

Something i'm looking forward to in the next 3 games though is the belief from the fans and the players that we can actually take 9 points from the 9 available. It's unlikely but it's definitely possible. We can beat anyone on our day. But with Moyes, I get the feeling that he would have dismissed that idea completely and would have specifically aimed for 5 points. You always need belief when going to tough places away and Moyes didn't have that whilst he was our manager.

Of all the prattish things Moyes has said and done since he left, that remark about at last "going to Anfield with a team which had a chance" rankles most with me.

Liverpool had some really crap teams diring his time here.

Of course, de-coded, that statement was Moyes doing what he does best i.e. pointing the finger elsewhere and telling the world it wasn't his fault he never won a game at the home of Liverpool during his tenure.

I see this, then I read what Moyes has said and...you know...Moyes is really making an extraordinary effort to distance himself at his "big club" now, whilst Martinez is doing everything right by the fans. Chalk & cheese isn't it?

I don't recall Moyes ever doing such a 'personal' message to the fans...happy to be corrected though, this is the other side of the planet you know! ;)

Moyes did have a spark when he first came but the last 5 years, he had people in his ear grooming him for the Man u job such as Ferguson and and Phil Neville who believes he was born to be the Man u boss, in the end he believes he was too good for us.

I personally think Martinez wanted the launch/update of that YT channel, as all big clubs have it, and he knows we are one...

Could you imagine Moyes doing fun things? His face looks like he's not had any fun in 20 years.

Has anyone else noticed?

First set of 9 games. Drew first 3 then won 5 and lost 1 of the next 6. Won in London. Loss was in Manchester.

Second set of 9 games. Drew first 3. Next 6? We have a game in Manchester and a game in London.
