Small margins my a**e.We're just not good enough. We have been consistently tosh this season RM is trotting out excuses week after week. Well pretty much the same excuse every week. You don't hear Sean Dyche at Burnley banging on about small margins. He accepts the level at which they are and is realistic about their position - and says so. RM could take a leaf out of his book as far as his press conferences go.

The dross he said in conference, wow. Losing 1-0 or 2-0 or 6-3 is the same. 3 points gone. Too much exercises. I hope deep inside his mind, he has woken up. These dross is just for the entertainment of the media.

Wonder how many calling for Martinez's head now were calling for Moyes head in his second season too?

1990 Man united fans where holding up signs after the city hammering wanting Ferguson sacked due to too many excuses, not living up to promise etc etc etc, RS fans this season calling for Rodgers head as well - now theyve turned it around they all piped down ofc (even if he is a bit of a fraud imo)

average fans are fickle and theirs a bloody good reason why they should have no involvement in who manages the club and making that decision as 9 out of ten times they'd bollox it up massively

Last season last few games aside we were bloody brilliant, this year the same as last in Europe and terrible in the league, yanno what after supporting everton for 40 years i think I'm willing to see what a third season - and the rest of this one brings before knee-jerking like a sky sports fan

TBH mate isn't what he says just basically what Wenger was known for doing for a good few of his early years at Arsenal - total support of the system he plays and the players no matter what - no problem when things go well, but can remember when Arsenal fans started getting annoyed by the blurb too

Nah not really mate. He's ballsed up royally this season but it'd be a bit pointless getting rid right now.

Cheers mate, didn't think you'd be one of the people knee-kerking from ya past history like if i'm being honest

This years been a horror show no doubts and my own view is it went wrong badly with the pre season, and after that it's shaken the players belief in the system when they found themselves going into it half fit and thats rocked their belief now in good part in their manager, IF he can win them back is another matter, something only a third season will show

Been absent on here most of the season mate, but are you advocating a change of manager or?

Most people on here are not desperate to get rid of our manager, we have enough about us to put up with a bad season, but we want The manager to stop putting a positive spin on situations that are far from positive. Stop playing players out of form and out of position and find a system to incorporate the players at his disposal instead of constantly trying to fit players into a style of play that maybe doesn't suit them. His failure to address these problems shows he has a stubborn/closed attitude that the players/supporters can't deal with.

If only we had got rid of that ginger bottler that early.

Never liked Moyes myself mate from the start but without blinkers on or bias, he was needed for a period of 4-6 years just to stop the rot and stabilise us as a top 8 team again, he outlived his time though

Expectation based upon what Everton did last season mate?

Errm yanno how ridiculous it is to advocate sacking the person who built the expectation up is lol

Nope. I don't advocate sacking him at this moment though. If we get 0-2 points for the next 3 matches, things will change perhaps.

And no, the expectation has built up because of what David Moyes had done in the last decade.
