If we beat Newcastle and go on to get safe soon after (which I think is the probable outcome) Martinez's job is safe. How could it not be when the same chairman allowed Moyes to stay on after dragging us down to the relegation zone in his second season and finishing it 17th?
Football fans are fickle. If you want to know how fickle they can be go and compare the poll results of this one with the one after the Arsenal game...and that's after a game against Stoke away that we all knew would be, as per, difficult.
