What caused the change? I don't know. Why is this season so different to last season? Again, I don't know.

Perhaps it was the Kiev goal. Perhaps it was Lukaku's free kick. Perhaps the players decided that now was the time to take the responsibility. Confidence is an elusive thing, but makes such a difference to football.

Pace. Pace of passing picked up.

Why they haven't done that all season I dont know. They did last season.

...I'd also add that they missed out one person in the chain in our moves when they did get passing with pace...which is what should happen. Result = opponents dragged right out of their comfort zone.

No need to go direct when you do that.

Lets be honest, Bobby wants the Europa on his CV, he can then leave quick sticks at the end of the season when we just scrape by, with Europa and Fa cup on his CV for a european club, the small print will be his reckless gambles with relegation

I think RM is the wrong man for the job now and going forward. BUT I certainly don't believe that tripe above to be true.

I think we will struggle next year to attract players of a high enough quality. I think our best players would want to leave. I think a new manager acting on limited funds would struggle for a number of years. I think Kenwright needs to name a date when the new stadium will be completed by, or sell the club.
I think a cup win would be nice, but unlikely, Martinez according to a few Wigan fans seems to be obsessed with a continental style of play philosophy, that clearly does not produce results in the pl as evidenced this season. I cant help but wonder why he persists with this week in week out, and have come to the conclusion that we are merely a stepping stone to bigger things.

That said hope we batter the barcodes at 4 !

You act like we manage to attract players at the higher end of the market, we dont, we never have and never will until we get CL football and offer the wages.
