At the end of the day it's a massive game on Thursday, both for Martinez and the club in general. The only way we're going to be able to recover the damage to the club's reputation this season is by getting to the final of the EL. If we go out this round and scrape survival in the league (or worse), we'll have no chance of getting the players needed to play how Martinez wants to play, so he'll be gone sooner or later. And then when he goes we'll be starting from scratch again. Massive game.

Plotters will be doing what plotters do best soon: disappearing back into their bunkers when tragedy hits them (AKA Everton getting a result).

What a world they inabit. It must be really sh1t. Hoping Everton get beat and praying for hoofball to return. They're like the ISIS of the Everton world. Thriving on chaos and seeking to turn the clock back to the medieval period.

Shocking stuff. So much for your call for peace the other day.

Another lost argument.

Keep swinging mate, you'll hit one soon

He's shown good and bad. If he rinses and repeats next season, then get shut, but replace with someone who principally wants to play football rather than a total pragmatist.

Thats something I have been thinking. If it didn't get any better next season, I would hope the board wouldn't think the need to go the opposite way and appoint a Pulis.

I really don't want us to be just another middling Premier league club swapping managers every couple of seasons. Like Villa appointing managers that you already know wont be there inside two seasons...

Make our choice. Have patience even in bad times. Then be very very sure about sacking, and in who we get next.

I stand by what I said, he loses the next 4 games I want him out, NOW.

If the results arent as grim as 4 defeats, im willing to give him till October, fresh start and all that.

Window closing on your objective this season. I cant blame you for being bitter.

Closing...closing...closing...closed!

Really not worried about Thursday game ,I think our 2 Belgium's will be in the euro shop window and will play out of their skin pulling good performances out of all around them, 2-0 . Sunday back to normal.
