No I didnt say that. I meant the board will already be aware of the situation and dont need a banner to point it out to them.

I just think it makes us look like knobs to be honest. I dont want bellends like Tyler sneering at us for flying a banner demanding Martinez's head the same year that he won us a cup (if it happens which it may not of course).

Like the manager has for 2 seasons you mean?

I'd rather leave Martinez to manage the team during the FA cup game(s). Despite everything he seems to be quite good in cup competitions. If we get knocked out of the FA cup then I'd fully support this.

Look i dont want him at the club, but he has the ability every now and then to put in a decent performance, especially away from home (no idea why btw) but no one we can bring in rite now will be better for the club. and of course they rely on the manager to win games.

We don't work on set pieces
We don't concentrate on the opposition

The semi final is ALL about the players motivation and desire; there is nothing that Martinez/Ferguson could do to 'swing' it in our favour.
Its all on the players.

He has managed us in cup games this year v Barnsley, Norwich, Reading, Carlisle, Dagenham, Bournemouth as well as City and Chelsea.

I could manage the team in the majority of those.

As much as I'd be dead set against someone like Ferguson, Sheedy or Unsworth being given the job full time - I really wouldn't mind them being given a game or two, even if it's the FA Cup final.

that is mental! havent won a cup in 20 years and you would happily give Ferguson a cup final for the odd "game or two" when our current manager has shown he has already won the FA cup

so whats the point in having a manager then? have you ever played a team sport? if so you would understand the importance of a coach/manager

We beat Chelsea and City at home and beat Wolfsburg home and away last year. He easily has a better record in the cup than in the league, even against more difficult opposition. I'm not saying he's amazing but I do think he probably has a better chance managing us than Unsworth or Ferguson, or probably Sheedy too, and that's who would replace him.

Sick of seeing our fans say "it's embarrassing" or "it's kopite behaviour"

I hate them across the park too, but they finished 2nd, then sacked a manager when they were 8th because they wanted better.

If that's "kopite behaviour" i'm all for it. Rather than blindly sticking with a manager who's taking us further and further down the table, with a fanbase that won't say boo incase someone calls it kopite behaviour.

Get a grip. This is our club and it's a shambles right now. By the end of the season we could easily be 16th and around that area. It's an embarrassment. FA cup or not. Plenty of teams have won a cup or been in the final and been a joke of a team, swansea, villa, birmingham, pompey.

The man needs to go ASAP, the players aren't playing for him, the crowd are miserable. There's nothing left, there's no reason for him to stay.

Get it done.

What happens if we win the semi and fail in the league still? Delay it to the final? No chance.

Get it done.
Thats my thought too. 'it may affect the players!'. These people have basically given up on the manager at this point. How is it going to adversely affect them?

It's always something with this manager. "Oh, let's wait until after the first 10 matches next season". Schedule comes out, it's quite hard. "Oh, let's give him until Christmas, that's when our easy run is". We are pretty crap that whole way through. "oh, we're doing good in the cups, let's not rock the boat, let's wait until we are out of it".
